Ashland Town FC wants every family in our community to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or captions.

What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We are not claiming full conformance — we are a small club and this is an honest statement of intent and current practice.

What we have done

• Every page works from the keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip-to-content link
• Text and background colours are chosen to meet contrast requirements
• The layout reflows for small screens and for zoom up to 200% without loss of content
• Headings follow a logical order so screen readers can navigate by structure
• Images carry alternative text describing what matters about them
• Animation respects the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system
• Forms have labels attached to their fields

Known limitations

• Content embedded from other providers — registration forms, video, maps and match film — is outside our control and may not meet the same standard
• Some older photographs may have brief or missing alternative text; we correct these as we find them
• PDF documents such as the Parent Guide may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we will supply the content in another format
